CPP disability is a type of income replacement benefit paid to eligible workers. To qualify for benefits you must meet two basic criteria. First, you must have worked and paid into the program. And second, you must have a disability that prevents you from working enough to earn more than $16,000 per year. This is a bit of an oversimplification, but gives you a general sense of the program.
